Obituary of Ollie Atchison

Olive Florence Atchison beloved wife of Bill Atchison Sr. of Calgary passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Ollie was born on November 9, 1926 and at the age of nine moved from England to Fairbridge Farm School in Duncan, BC. Ollie moved to Calgary in 1948 and in 1951 she met Bill. On March 22, 1952 Ollie and Bill were married. Ollie’s favourite past time was playing darts, she also was fond of sewing, cooking and gardening. Her biggest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ollie was a genuine individual who got the most joy by doing things for other people. Besides her loving husband Bill Sr., Ollie is remembered by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bill Jr. (Janine) of Red Deer, AB, Michael (Patricia) of Water Valley, AB and by James and his partner Heather of Okotoks, AB and by two grandchildren, Trevor and Carmel. Ollie was predeceased by her grandson Donald and by three brothers, Thomas, George and Kenneth.
