Obituary of William John Chambers
William John (Bill) Chambers beloved husband of Barbara Chambers of Calgary, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the age of 69 years.
Whether camping or 4x4ing, Bill had an instinctive desire to be in the great outdoors touring the backcountry. This desire led him to be one of the original founding members of the Four Wheel Stampeders and through this has had the opportunity to navigate many of the off-roading trails where most would dare not to go.
Along with his loving wife of forty-five years Barbara, Bill will be forever remembered by his children and their spouses, Kim and Greg, Lynne and Myles and Nancy all of Calgary; five grandchildren, Angela and Lonny, Logan, Michael, Brittany and Jordyn and by his one great grandchild Landon.
A Private family service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
