Obituary of Salvatore Perri

Salvatore Perri, beloved husband of Angela Perri of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Salvatore was born April 27, 1930 in San Giovanni In Fiore, Cosenza, Italy. He married Angela Scigliano on September 8, 1957 and immigrated to Canada (Victoria, BC) in August 1960. In 1961 they moved to Calgary. Salvatore owned and operated Perri Trucking Ltd. He had a passion for his work and business for over forty years. He loved being surrounded by his family who always came first in his heart. Although Salvatore made his life in Calgary, his real home was in Italy, which he frequently visited and this is where he will be laid to rest. He could fix or build anything. Salvatore was a hard working man who only provided the best for his family. He will be greatly missed and his spirit will be carried in our hearts forever. Besides his loving wife Angela, Salvatore is survived by his family, Luisa and Leonardo Scarcelli of Calgary, Giuseppe Perri of Victoria, BC, Marisa and Robert Larson of Calgary and Franca Perri of Calgary; five grandchildren, Luciano Scarcelli (Filomena Nicoletti), Perri Scarcelli, Tyler Perri, Kristiana Perri and Julian Perri. He is also survived by two sisters, Rosa Perri Caputo and Maria Perri Belsito (Vito) both of Italy. Salvatore was predeceased by his brother, Giuseppe Perri and a brother-in-law Luigi Capato.
