Obituary of Bruce McBride

Bruce McBride beloved husband of Connie and devoted father of Chelsey and Ryan all of Calgary, passed away at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Bruce was born on May 26, 1953 in Edmonton, AB. Throughout his life he had the opportunity to live in a variety of places including Edmonton, AB, Williamstown, ON, Northfield Stn., ON, Gabon, Africa, Dubai, U.A.E., Devon, AB and Calgary, AB due to his career in the oil industry. Bruce started coaching children’s sports at the age of fifteen and continued to do so until the summer of 2006. He was a loving and giving individual who always put his family first, and he always stood by every decision he made with full integrity. Along with his loving wife of twenty-two years Connie, Bruce is lovingly remembered by his children Chelsey and Ryan. He is also survived by his mother Mary Borden McBride of Northfield Stn., ON; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Corinne of Northfield Stn., ON; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacquie and John Morgan of Calgary, Cathy McBride of Scarborough, ON, Joan and Richard McDonald of Brampton, ON, and Helen and Ian Harris of Burlington, ON; mother and father-in-law, Ben and Marge Dombrosky and by his brother and sister-in-law Perry and Erin Dombrosky all of Edmonton, AB. Bruce was predeceased by his father John Carl Maynard (Jack) McBride of Northfield Stn., ON.
