Obituary of Dorothea Ehmke

Dorothea (Thea) Ehmke of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the age of 90 years. Thea was born in Hannover, Germany on November 6, 1916. She later immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband and two children, Christel and Hannelore. Thea had a lengthy career with the General Hospital in Calgary and upon retirement enjoyed travelling to Hawaii and Germany. She was known in her neighbourhood as having the most beautiful garden, in particular her pink lavateras. Thea was loved and will be missed. At Thea’s request no service will be held.
