Obituary of Dorothy Gertrude Wilson

Dorothy Gertrude Wilson (nee Mitchell) passed away peacefully on January 21, 2007 at the age of 82 years. She was born in Upper Melbourne, Quebec- youngest of eleven children born to Henry and Agnes Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Bob) Bedard; grandson Jason (Leslie) Bedard; great grandson Holden Bedard; and grand daughter Melody (Jonathan) Guilloux, all of Calgary. She will also be remembered by her brothers-in-law Roscoe (Diane), Orville, and Kenneth Wilson; sisters-in-law Betty Mitchell and Gloria Mitchell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Clive in 2000, son Bobby in 1963, parents Henry and Agnes, ten siblings, and her father and mother-in-law Bliss and Gladys Wilson. Dorothy moved from Crowes Mills, Nova Scotia to Calgary after Clive passed away, and made many dear friends here. She will be lovingly remembered by many for her warm smile, kind and gentle manner and love of a good joke. A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held at Rockyview Alliance Church (6927 Rundlehorn Drive NE) on Saturday February 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at a later date at Crossroads Cemetery at Valley, Col.
