Suzanne Larrivee

Obituary of Suzanne Larrivee

Suzanne (Suzie) Larrivee, beloved wife of Omer, of Calgary passed away on suddenly Monday, January 22, 2007, after a brief illness at the age of 60 years. The journey of life of Suzanne began sixty years ago in Saskatchewan. Her younger years as a child were fraught with poverty. Yet, love of a close knit family was always there as the backbone of her existence. This love that was engrained in her from early childhood carried her through many years of caring for others especially loving unconditionally her husband Omer and her daughter Karen. The loving nature that imploded from her very being was felt by all who encountered her. As her child grew up and impending empty-nest syndrome on the horizon, rather than one child moving out two more moved in, these being her nieces Donna and Shawna. She treated her nieces as if they were her very own. The genuine caring, compassion and kindness led her through twenty-five great years of taking care of residents at the Brentwood Care Centre. With her tender loving disposition, she treated each and every resident with dignity and respect, and loved every minute of it. Suzanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of thirty-seven years, Omer and their daughter Karen. Also left to mourn the loss of this wonderful woman are her loving mother Muriel; her devoted brothers and sister Edward (Donna), Sharon (Robert), Ron (Teri), Stan, and Amos (Julie). She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by extended family Yvonne (Gerry), Marie (Walter), Louis, Dale (Doris), and numerous nieces and nephews. Her memory will be forever in the hearts of all her friends and co-workers, and all who have crossed her path.
