Obituary of Valerie Lois Frank

Valerie (Val) Lois Frank, beloved wife of Ernie Frank of Chestermere, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Val was born in Calgary on November 24, 1933. She attended St. Mary’s Girls’ School. Val and Ernest proudly celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 23, 2006. Besides her loving husband of 50 years, Ernie, Val will be missed by her children Greg Frank, Dan (Maria) Frank, Terry Frank, Brenda (Stephan) Lestage of Windsor, ON, Jodi Frank, Sherri (Mitch) Fowers and Jesse (Doris) Frank; grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Allan, Colin, Natasha, Hannah; two great grandchildren, Ariel and Kieran. Val will also be remembered by her brother and sister-in-law Ron and Mary Ashmore of Calgary and her Aunt Mable. Val was predeceased by her daughter Linda Chemko. Monday, January 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road.
