Obituary of Evelyn Viola Plume

Evelyn Viola Plume passed away in her sleep at Extendicare Hillcrest on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the age of 94. Evelyn was born to Harry and Ethel Ancion in Content, Alberta, and grew up in Lousana, Alberta. Evelyn graduated from Normal School in Edmonton, and taught grades one to four in Elnora, Alberta. She married Richard (Dick) Plume on July 11, 1934, and together they farmed west of Elnora until they retired to White Rock, British Columbia in 1968. They enjoyed their retirement in White Rock until Dick passed away in 1990. Evelyn then moved to Calgary to be close to family. Evelyn is survived by her children, Sylvia (Harry), Mary (David), and Neil (Beverly); seven grandchildren, Leanne, Janine, Vanda, Kelly, Pamela, Kenneth, and Sara; eight great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Emma, and brother, Howard.. She was predeceased by her brothers, George and Leslie. A Private Family Service will be held. Graveside Service will be held at Elnora Cemetery in Elnora, Alberta at a later date.
