Obituary of Doris Campbell

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doris Irene Campbell, beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the age of 85 years with her daughters by her side. Doris was born on July 21, 1921 in Winnipeg and was the youngest of three siblings, her brother Ernie and sister Ruth who predeceased her. Doris worked at Eaton’s in the hardware and paint department for thirty years. Mom loved her work, her co-workers and customers. She had a big heart and was always there for her girls and grandchildren. She had a bright smile and always a friendly word. Mom loved to travel and she made the best pies. Mom will always be looking out for us, loving us and giving us strength as she did in life. She has left behind to cherish her memory, her husband John; her daughters Gail Hill (Marvin Bahnuik) and Colleen (Jack Tuckwood); her grandchildren Rebecca, Stephen, Amy, Aaron (Leah), Adam and great-granddaughter Calli who is four months old. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Murray Logan, Presider. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
