Obituary of Wendy Joyce Black

Wendy Black, beloved wife of Al, of Calgary, passed away on January 15, 2007.at the age of 50 years. Wendy was born on May 23, 1956, in Verdun, Quebec. On December 2, 1999, she married Al Black, and came to Airdrie in the summer of 2000. Wendy enjoyed bowling and reading, and was a very social person, making many lasting friendships. Her greatest joy was her family, and she especially loved taking part in her children’s activities and nurturing their growth. Besides her loving husband, Al, Wendy is survived by her children, Tonya, Christopher, Trevor, and Evan, all of Airdrie; mother, Jean Gauld, of Chateaugeay, Que.; brothers, Jeff Gauld (Lee Courtney), of Calgary, AB., and Brian (Lorna) Gauld, of Courtice, ON.; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Wendy was Predeceased by her father, Neil Gauld. A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held at Hot Rods and Cool Cars (85 East Lake Circle, N.E., Airdrie) on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
