Obituary of Harold Arthur Brown

Harold Brown of Calgary passed away on January 12, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Harold was born on April 10, 1918, in Red Deer, and married Jennie on July 28, 1942. He served with the R.C.A from 1942-1946. In 1949 he moved to Calgary, where he began his long career with Cardinal Coach Lines as Maintenance Foreman. Harold was an active member of Chalmers Presbyterian Church, and served as an elder for many years. Harold is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Philip Harness, of Squamish, B.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Douanne Brown, of Coquitlam, B.C.; and Gregory and Joan Brown, of Balzac, AB.; five grandchildren, Becky, Ben, Mitchell, Steven, and Katie Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Marion Brown, of Pine Lake, AB.; and sister-in-law, Margaret Brown, of Bowden, AB. Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Jennie, as well as his brothers, Chris and Jack Brown. Funeral Services will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church (1102 – 23rd Avenue N.W.) on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
