Obituary of Ruth Robertson

Ruth Robertson of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2007 at the age of 90 years. Jim and Ruth made the move from Winnipeg to Calgary in 1962 and through this endured long friendships with both their neighbours and the C.P.R. crowd. Ruth’s active life centered around her home, where she taught piano lessons to young students in the Forest Lawn area. Ruth will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Graham and Leslyie and by her grandson Jay and his wife Leslie. She is also remembered by her close-knit family, sister-in-law Alice Reid; niece Susan, her husband Tim Creelman and their family, Matthew and Elizabeth as well as Leslyie’s parents, Stewart and Edith Egglestone. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 2001 and by her brother Harold in 1999.
