Barbara Kronemeyer

Obituary of Barbara Susan Kronemeyer

Barbara Kronemeyer, dearly loved wife of William (Bill) Kronemeyer, of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Barbara was born on September 30, 1953, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and christened as Barbara Susan Plumb. She graduated from the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing in 1974 and continued her nursing career through 1982 at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. Barbara returned to school to complete a Business Administration Diploma at SAIT, but during this time developed a deep passion for photography. Barbara pursued her dream and earned her crowning professional achievement as Master Professional Photographer in 1992. Barbara will be remembered by her many clients and friends as compassionate, energetic, and a true craftsperson, which was reflected in her many works of art. However, no one will be as touched by Barbara’s passing as her family. Despite Barbara’s hectic schedule, her first priority was always raising her two sons, David Alexander and Steven William, as best as she possibly could. Besides her loving husband and sons, Barbara is survived by her parents, Alex and Lillian Plumb, and her brother, Gordon, all of Belleville, Ontario. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
