Obituary of Olimpia Maria DelBello

Olimpia DelBello, beloved wife of Ezio DelBello of DeWinton, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Olimpia was born on August 23, 1932 in Sterna, Italy. Olimpia married Ezio Angelo DelBello on June 19, 1955. They immigrated to Canada in 1956 and settled in Calgary where they stayed till 1980. They then moved to an acreage in DeWinton. Besides her loving husband, Olimpia is survived by her three sons, Nevio DelBello of Calgary, Marino DelBello of DeWinton and Franco DelBello of Maui; seven grandchildren, Joanna, Jessie, Caitlin, Carmen, Julia, Marco and Gina; her brother Edo Saincich of Italy; as well as her sister Erminia DeDomizio. She was predeceased by her mother Maria, her father Romano and her brother Ezio. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
