Obituary of Lila Heward

Lila Christine Heward of Calgary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Lila enjoyed being with family, friends and her extended family, sharing special times together. Lila’s grandchildren’s lives and accomplishments filled her with happiness. During her lifetime she appreciated listening to fine music and was an active member of Central United Church. Lila is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Penny Whitlock; two daughters Shelley Keobke and Wendy Whitlock; two step daughters and son-in-law Bonnie and Warren Pacaud, all of Calgary and Darlene Heward of Florida. She is also survived by five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lois and Don MacArthur, Mona and Ray Thomas, Vera Beattie, Lorraine Waslenchuk, Al McQuitty all of Calgary, Rebecca Macleod of Moncton, N.B. and her sister-in-law Maxine Wakeling of Richmond, Washington; and brother and sister-in-law David and Heather MacLennan of Calgary and ten grandchildren.
