Obituary of Carmen Sylvia Badger

At the age of 58 years, after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer, Carmen is peacefully at rest. Carmen was born on July 5, 1948 in Montreal, QC and was raised in Stanstead, QC. She graduated from nursing at La Providence Hospital in Magog, QC in 1968 and nursed in Sherbrooke, Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary. Carmen was also a dental assistant, office manager and owned a company with Wes. She especially enjoyed the two years living in Africa and travelling around the world. She will be sadly missed by her husband of thirty-eight years Wes; and her sons and daughter-in-law, David, James and Susan, all of Edmonton. Carmen left us far too soon and will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Ferande Ricard. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Tony Klein of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Presider.
