Obituary of John T. Cook
During his life Jack fought many battles with great bravery. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and continued to fight to the end of his life as he stoically battled the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease.
With the support of his two boys Jack was able to live out his final years in the family home in Calgary. He eventually lost his fight and succumbed to pneumonia in the Rockyview Hospital.
Jack is survived by his two sons Byron and Trevor, his sister Jeanette Bonney, Christine, Anne, numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 January 3rd at McInnis and Holloway Park Memorial Chapel at 5008 Elbow Drive SW.
