Jackie Ferguson

Obituary of Jackie Ferguson

Jacqueline Linda Ferguson (Jackie) passed away unexpectedly early Christmas morning at her home in Canal Flats, British Columbia at the age of 68 years. Jackie was born to Susan and Clifford Wilson on July 21, 1938 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Robert (Bob) Noble in Winnipeg in 1956 where they had four children. In 1972, Jackie and the family moved to Calgary where they were blessed with an abundance of new friendships, many of which became lifelong. Bob and Jackie took great pride in their home but it was only a setting for what mattered most, their family and friends. In 1990, Bob unfortunately succumbed to cancer after a lengthy battle with Lymphoma, but Jackie’s strength and love kept her family close and united. In 1992 her life began a new chapter when her beauty captured one Harry Ferguson. Together they continued to share a love for entertaining family and friends, both old and new, from Calgary to Tumbler Ridge, BC and the Kootenays. Jackie always put everyone else ahead of herself and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love of life, laughter, and people will live on through the crafts she made and gifts she gave, while her spirit will remain alive in our fond and mostly humorous memories. Jackie leaves to mourn her husband Harry Ferguson; three sons Robin Noble, Shawn Noble, Daren (Liz) Noble, daughter Jennifer (Leroy) Siki; grandsons Ryan Noble and Tyrel and Orrin Siki; siblings Susie (Dave) Thompson, Pat Tangen, Dennis (Carol) Wilson, Terry (Lorraine) Wilson, Pete (Bonnie) Wilson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bob Noble in 1990; sister Joyce Morrison and mother Susan Wilson. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on January 2, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O.
