Obituary of Stanley McDougall

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stan McDougall on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Stan was born September 13, 1926 in Harris, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Lougheed, AB and moved to Calgary with his family in 1941. Stan married Mary Graham on May 25, 1957 and they continued to make Calgary their home. Stan delivered telegrams for the CPR in his teens and went on to work for Radiocraft; Taylor, Pearson & Carson; Cardinal Electronics and Canadian Electronics before retiring. He was an active member of Chalmers Presbyterian Church, serving as a Board of Managers member, Elder, and Clerk of Session. He was always the first person to lend a helping hand. Stan is survived by his sister Reta as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in June 2005 and his parents Bruce and Marian McDougall.
