TAYLOR ? Irene Rebecca (nee Stark) 1920 ? 2006 It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Irene Rebecca Taylor of Calgary and formerly of the Peace River district on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Irene was born and raised in Calgary where she briefly worked for Imperial Oil before marrying Clifford Taylor and moving to the Peace River country in 1945, settling on a farm in the Doe River area on the Alberta side. She was an active member of her community, making many life-long friends as well as being a life member of the Doe River Women?s Institute. After the death of her husband, in 1993, she resided in Dawson Creek, British Columbia before moving back to Calgary for a brief period. Irene leaves to mourn her son Phillip and daughter-in-law Joan; grandsons Sean (Kate), Bryan, and Neil; nieces Sharon Naus and Carol Connors; nephew Harvey Stark; a dear friend of 80 years, Betty Aldrich; a small extended family; and numerous friends in the Dawson Creek area. Irene was predeceased by her husband Clifford; parents Rebecca and Ernie Stark Sr.; brother Ernie Stark Jr.; and sister-in-law Queenie Stark. The family has requested that no service be held with funeral and cremation arrangements to be arranged by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.
