Obituary of Kimberley Groves

GROVES – Kimberley Dawn December 17, 1981 – December 20, 2006 It was with overwhelming sadness that Kim was released from this earth on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 by her loving family. In a gesture so typical of her unselfish nature, Kim gave to others the body for which she no longer had need, and so will live on in those whose quality of life will be forever enhanced by her generosity and selflessness. Kim graduated from John G. Diefenbaker High School in 1999 and from the New Media Production and Design program at S.A.I.T. in 2004. She was a truly gifted and creative web designer and was employed by Shaw Cable in that capacity as well as being a free-lance web designer who brought her artistic vision to her creations. Kim was a remarkably gifted, disciplined and proficient student of the flute for many years and enjoyed all forms of musical expression. She was a lover of all animals, caring for them with diligence and skill, and was an especially talented horsewoman. Kim, always gentle and soft-spoken, lived her life with grace and dignity and with a remarkable sense of environmental and social responsibility. the loving sister of Meaghan and Chad, and the devoted soul mate, best friend and partner of Olaf, for whom she was truly the love of his life. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her family, her Olaf, and by her friends and colleagues.
