Obituary of Kenneth Kirkpatrick
Kenneth (Ken) Norman Kirkpatrick, beloved husband of Lynn Kirkpatrick of Calgary, passed away on Monday December 18, 2006 at the age of 58 years after a long heroic battle with cancer.
Ken was born on January 4, 1948 in Lethbridge and spent some of his teen years in Regina. He later moved to Calgary where he worked in the wire rope industry for seventeen years. After that, he began employment with Brewster Transportation where he found his love for work through history, travel and people. Ken married Lynn Richardson on September 1, 1979 in Calgary. He was an active member of the Fish Creek Lions Club and took pride in commitment to the community.
Besides his loving wife Lynn, Ken is survived by daughter Kelly Kirkpatrick of Calgary and son Tyler Kirkpatrick of Kindersley, SK. He was predeceased by his parents Ruby and Robert Kirkpatrick and his brother George Kirkpatrick.
