In 1983, she and Gordon were divorced, and Joyce took a different career track, as a Court Services Officer for the Court of Queen’s Bench, a job she enjoyed until her retirement in 2003. While she was working for the courts, she met her second husband, Sinclair Crowell, whom she married in 1984 and who predeceased her in 1993.
