Obituary of Ivica Rafaj

Ivica Rafaj beloved husband of Lottie Rafaj of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the age of 58 years. As a young man, Ivica came to Canada from Croatia, moving to Winnipeg. It was there that he would meet his wife to be, Lottie. In 1975 they moved to Calgary, and he began working as a brick layer. Ivica enjoyed his job, his family and friends and life in general. He always lived life to its fullest. Besides his loving wife Lottie of thirty-two years Ivica is remembered by one daughter and son-in-law Betty and Lindsay Hildebrand; one son and his fiancé Daniel Rafaj and Alison Arnold; his mother Marica Pasanec. Ivica will also be remembered by Vlado (Nada) Pasanec, Stanka (Ivan)Drlan, Zvonko Pasanec, Stefic (Ivanka) Rafaj, Ljubomir (Ana) Rafaj; also Branko (Vlasta) Lisak of Kitchener, ON and Mike Lisac and family of Quebec; all of their families in Croatia and many other relatives in Europe and Canada. Ivica was predeceased by his father Jurej Rafaj.
