Obituary of Gregory Ray Harder
Reverend Gregory Ray Harder went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 46 years on Tuesday, December 12, 2006.
He leaves behind his children, Kristyn and Jeffrey and their mother Catherine; his parents Ray and Christine; his siblings, Ila Mae, Myrdden, and Karie and other family members.
Greg was born in Saskatoon, SK and grew up in Calgary. In 1978, he moved to Regina to attend Canadian Bible College and graduated in 1985. Ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in 1992, Greg served as youth and assistant pastor at Deer Park Alliance Church in Red Deer, Sherwood Park Alliance Church and Alliance Bible Church in Hillsboro, Oregon. He has left his legacy within his church ministries, his athletic abilities and his acts of love and kindness to all he knew. Greg will be affectionately remembered as a ‘sports dad’ – he was Kristyn and Jeff’s biggest fan at their many basketball, volleyball, baseball and hockey games and actively encouraged many of their friends and teammates. He will be greatly missed by all.
