Obituary of Ralph Joseph Swaile

Ralph Joseph Swaile beloved husband of Michelle of Calgary, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 11, 2006 at the age of 55 years. Ralph was born on August 10, 1951 in St. Thomas, ON. He spent close to thirty years in senior corporate tax positions in the oil and gas industry. Ralph was considered an expert in the field, and had a drive to succeed no matter what he embarked upon. Considered a bit of a corporate rebel, he was always very determined to do things his own way. Wherever he went, Ralph always strived to make it a fun environment with stories and jokes to make everyone laugh. He thrived on being near the ocean and walking the sandy beaches of Maui. Ralph was an avid golfer had recently taken up fishing and loved driving his sports car. Besides his loving wife Michelle, Ralph is survived by his children, Shaun, Steven, Scott and Sabrina; and his four grandchildren, Carissa, Shane, Sheldon and Myles. He is also survived by his parents, Frank and Joy; brother Paul and sister Beverley. Ralph was predeceased by his brother Mike.
