Obituary of Claudette Jeanette Murray

Claudette Jeanette Murray, beloved wife of Dick Murray of Calgary, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Claudette was born and raised in Cornwall, ON. Her parents passed away and she went to live with her sister and brother-in-law Jean and Bill and helped raise their children, Terry, Tia and Billy. As an adult, she came to Calgary where she worked at CIBC as a Loans Officer. She married Dick Murray on July 4, 1987 – it would have been twenty years next July. Together they also worked hard to build their business “Dick’s Collectibles”. When she became ill, Claudette was lovingly cared for by her husband and dear stepdaughter Cindy. Her outgoing nature and joyous spirit made everyone feel special. She loved all people and will be missed by the many whose lives she touched. Besides her loving husband Dick, Claudette is survived by four stepsons, Rick and his daughters, Amanda (son Tristan) and Chelsea, Lance, Lee, and Jay; two stepdaughters, Cindy and her sons, Travis and Dustin, and Devin and her son Brendan; and Claudette’s adopted son Patty Tremblay from her first marriage. Her two special dogs, Snowflakes and Trixie, will also miss her. She was predeceased by her parents, Hector and Cecile; brothers, Lawrence and Rudy; and sisters, Jean and Dede.
