Obituary of Dianna Clara Johnston

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and sister on Tuesday November 28, 2006 surrounded by her family and friends. Dianna was born in Calgary on July 29, 1942 at the Calgary General Hospital, and was cared for deeply by her family, friends and pets (Scampy & Buttons). Dianna was the type of person who was always available when needed, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Dianna spent almost a decade driving Cardinal school buses and served numerous years on the Executive of the Royal Canadian Legion, Jubilee Branch #286. Dianna is survived by her loving husband Carman; her devoted sons Ron Maeers of Kelowna and Rick Maeers (Karen) of Vancouver; sister Sharon Billings of Calgary and brother John McDermott (Bev) of Salmon Arm; step-children Sherry, Debbie (Bill), Diane (Brian), Dale (Vicky), Shelly, Shane (Kerri), and Darren; as well as many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
