Obituary of Larry Yarmchuk

Larry Yarmchuk, beloved husband of Caryl Yarmchuk of Calgary, passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Larry was born on December 12, 1941. He was a thinker, philosopher and visionary. Larry knew how to anticipate others’ needs and was generous and giving, always putting his family first. He was a passionate golfer with a twinkle in his eye that subtly suggested his dry sense of humour. Besides his loving wife of thirty-nine years Caryl, Larry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tanya, John and Erin, all of Calgary; and three grandchildren, Damon, Noah and Hailey. He is also survived by two sisters, Lou-Jane (Gerry) Hilgenberg and Joyce (Gene) Clark; his brother Ron Yarmchuk; numerous nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Doris; and sister Florence. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
