Obituary of Michele Cusano

Michele Cusano of Calgary, beloved husband of Concetta, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Michele was born on January 15, 1921, and he married Concetta Cusanelli on the 27th of September, 1956. Together they came to Canada with their daughter Maria, on July 9, 1959. Michele was youthful and active, a man of few words, but a man of action. He was an avid gardener and wine maker, taking great pride in both. As a devoted and loving father and husband, Michele took great joy in his family, and was the pillar and foundation. On September 27, 2006, Michele and Concetta joyfully celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Besides his loving wife, Concetta, Michele is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Rocco Raimondi, and Cristina and Dean Marcil; four grandchildren, Concetta and her husband Guido De Ciancio, Francesco and his wife Angelina Raimondi, and Lorenzo and Gabriella Marcil; and one great grandchild, Alessandra De Ciancio. He is also survived by two brothers, Nicola and Luigi of Hartford, CT, and his sister Angela-Maria of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
