Obituary of Darryl William Field

Darryl William Field, beloved husband of Glenda Field of Calgary passed away on Saturday November 18, 2006, after a heroic battle with cancer, at the age of 48 years. Darryl was born on April 15, 1958 in Calgary. He was raised and attended school in Sudbury, ON. Darryl returned to Calgary in 1981 after graduating from Western University in London, ON. He excelled in his career in Information Technology management with Canadian Hunter Exploration, Pan Canadian Petroleum and finally Encana Corporation. Darryl was an avid outdoorsman who particularly loved skiing, hiking and cycling, but his greatest passion was for his family. Darryl was a devoted husband to Glenda for fifteen years. He is also survived by his son Garret (14); daughters Denise (13) and Lauren (11); father Slim Field of Gore Bay, ON; brother and sister-in-law Dwight and Brenda Field of Sylvan Lake, AB; and sister Dawn Field of Bentley, AB. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Field.
