Obituary of James Walker

James Walker of Calgary passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the age of 88 years. James was born on June 5, 1918 in Bolton, Lancs, England. He married Margery Edwards in 1944 and they came to Canada in 1957. James retired in 1983 to Calgary to be closer to his family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. James and Margery enjoyed travelling , spending the winter months in Florida. James is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Patty Walker of Mesa, AZ, and Barry and Elsie Walker of Dartmouth, NS; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Monica Walker of, and Richard and Elsie Walker all of Bolton, Lancs, England; as well as numerous nieces and nephews all in England.
