Obituary of Allan T. Hrdlicka

Al Hrdlicka of Calgary passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2006 after a brief struggle with cancer at the Canmore General Hospital, at the age of 60 years. Al was born on December 17, 1945 in Glasgow, Scotland. He immigrated to Canada in 1946, settling in Alberta. As a young man, Al moved to Fort St. John, BC and started a family. He later moved back to Alberta to continue his career in the oil and gas industry. Al is remembered by his children, Judi (Bill Hilker), Robert (Bradyann Pecusik) and their mother Jodi Watson, and Julie (Keith MacIntyre), and her mother Bonnie Hrdlicka; nine grandchildren Beth, Thomas, Tiana, Taylor, Tristan, Zack, Max, Laura, and Melanie. He is also survived by his siblings Donald (Rose) Williams and Elizabeth (Jason Knudtson). Al was predeceased by his parents Tom and Betty Hrdlicka.
