Obituary of Leonard Ginther

Leonard (Len) Ginther, beloved husband of Janet Ginther of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the age of 70 years. Leonard was born on August 27, 1936 on a farm near Haywarden, SK. He grew up and worked in construction in Saskatchewan before moving to Calgary. Leonard then worked for the Teamsters Union #362, working at various gas plants. In 1978, he bought a gravel truck and received a contract with the City of Calgary for several years. Leonard will be remembered for his love of polka music, camping and lively political discussions. Besides his wife and soul mate of over forty years, Janet, Len is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by daughters Karen and Linda; and grandchildren, Shyla, Larissa and Garett. He is also survived by his three brothers; and five sisters.
