Obituary of Cyril Towers

Cyril Towers of Canmore passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Cyril was born on September 12, 1927 and lived most of his life in the mountains. He was a skilled heavy equipment operator and worked on many projects in the Canmore Valley with Tower’s Transport. Cyril is survived by a long time friend and companion Georgia Housenga; his sister-in-law Mary Towers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good neighbours. He was predeceased by his parents Maud and Robert Towers; two brothers, Henry and William; and two sisters, Dorothy and Irene. A family service was held at the Canmore Cemetery on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
