Obituary of Ann Perkinson

Ann Perkinson, beloved wife of Les of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2006, at the age of 67 years. Ann was born in Spirit River, AB, on March 12, 1939. She was married on June 25, 1958, and lived in Calgary for the past forty-five years. Ann served as a commissionaire with the Girl Guides as well as working with her husband in the wholesale business. She was the kind of person who always thought of others before herself and was most supportive of her family, with her grandchildren being her pride and joy. Ann is survived by her husband Les; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Scott Meers, Dawn and Bernard Kohrs and Leslie and Doug Simpson; grandchildren, Hannah, Michael, Conrad, and Russell; as well as her brothers, His Eminence Archbishop Hilarion and Bill Kapral. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Rose Kapral; sister Nancy; and brothers Peter, Harry and Mike. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday November 17, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Holy Martyr Peter the Aleut Orthodox Church (1939 33 Avenue S.W.) on Saturday November 18, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with the Archpriest Larry Reinheimer, Presider.
