Obituary of Kherun Nisha Sadrudin Ali Merali

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kherun Merali on Monday, November 13, 2006, at the age of 64 years. Kherun was a very caring and hardworking woman who dedicated her life to her husband, family and the Ismaili Muslim Community. She spent twenty-five years of her career at the Alberta Motor Association, retiring in December of 2004. Kherun was deeply loved by her husband who was her entire heart and soul. The couple was married for forty-five years and until the day she passed away, their love was as strong and precious as when they first met. She will always be remembered as a remarkable woman who would put a smile on your face with her warm and gentle touch. Kherun will be missed as a loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt and fellow co-worker. The family and friends of Kherun would like to thank all the staff at the Peter Lougheed Centre for their compassion and care.
