Obituary of Anna Marie Turnbull

Ann Maria Turnbull passed away on Sunday November 12, 2006, at the age of 80 years. Ann was born on August 6, 1926 in Carmel, SK, and came to Calgary in 1953. She was a strong, independent person who lived her life with integrity and grace. She had a great love for her family and friends and remained very close to her sister in Calgary and her niece and great nephews. Ann enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan, especially the Flames and the Stampeders. Ann will be lovingly missed by her daughter Sharon Powell of Calgary; sister Marie Kramer (John) of Calgary; niece Kathy Ingwerson; and great nephews Chris and Matt Ingwerson. She will also be remembered by her brothers Adolph, Leo, Louis, Robert, Ted (Elsa) Wilfred (Diane), and Robert; sister Johanna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her son-in-law Gordon Powell; her nephew Ken Kramer; a brother Elvin and sister Francis.
