Obituary of Helen Reimer

Helen Reimer, beloved mother of daughter Judy Reimer, and of son Orme Reimer (wife Sheila), and dear grandmother of Emma and Edward (Ted) Reimer, of Calgary, passed away at home on November 7, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Helen is also missed by her sister Margaret Hauer of Didsbury; nephew Bill (Cindy) Hargreaves and niece Shawna Hargreaves of Lethbridge; and niece Laurie (Mike) Wiens of Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1992; her sister Bet Hargreaves in 1989; her mother Elsie Orme in 1974; and her father William Orme in 1959. Helen was born in Banff on December 20, 1925. She graduated from St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Vancouver in 1949. Helen and Albert married in Saskatoon in 1956 and owned a hatchery in Kindersley. They moved to Calgary in 1964. She is a much loved and missed mother and grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew her. Many thanks to Dr. Heaton and palliative RN Sharon.
