Obituary of Margaret Kirkby

Margaret Kirkby beloved wife of Mr. Robert Kirkby SR of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Margaret was born on December 21, 1916 in St. Johns, Newfoundland. She married Robert on June 22, 1942. With Robert’s career in the Air Force they resided in many locations across North America. They settled in Calgary in 1969. Margaret was an incredibly devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always put her family first. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Margaret is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Bob and Louise; A daughter and son-in-law Iris and Gary; four grandchildren Keith, Taunya, Garett and Meghan; three step grandchildren Natalie, Walter and Nick; as well as six great grandchildren; several extended family and her very special niece Robyn and her family.
