Obituary of Leonard Lariviere

Leonard (Len) Alfred Lariviere of Airdrie passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the age of 69 years. Len was born July 17, 1937 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he was raised and attended school. In 1954 he joined the army and was stationed in Europe. He returned to Canada and was discharged on July 7, 1963 due to health. Len was a faithful member of Alcoholics Anonymous since July 3, 1976. He had a talent for and enjoyed writing many pieces of poetry. Len loved animals and spoiled many family pets. Len is survived by his family, Tom and Carol Lariviere of Belville, ON, Larry Larivere of Airdire, Tammy and Brian Hennessy of Belville, ON, Cathy and Mike Williamson of Airdire, Kevin Lariviere of Calgary, Tina and Rodney Adams of Belville, ON, Coral and Jackson Magel of Vita, MB and Kirby Larivere of Calgary; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers and four sisters, Peter, Jon, Roland, Meryl, Marguerite, , Candy, Marilyn, Francine and their families. Len was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Ethel Larivere; his sister Rose and nephew Eugene.
