Obituary of Francesco Morrone

We are saddened by the loss of Francesco Morrone, who died peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Peter Lougheed Centre at the age of 82 years. Francesco was born in Aprigliano, Vico Cosenza, Italy on December 9, 1923. He was an avid walker, enjoyed nature, loved to read and garden. He never let life slow him down and never gave up. Francesco will never be forgotten and will be sadly missed. He leaves behind family and friends in Calgary, Italy, United States and Argentina. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
