Obituary of Edward Ullyot FitzGerald

Edward Ullyot (Ted) FitzGerald beloved husband of Florence of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Ted was born on December 18, 1921 in Parry Sound, ON. He grew up in Timmons, ON and served with the RCAF and RAF during WWII, flying Spit Fire planes. Ted married Florence on December 19, 1947. He later began working in the Forest Industry in Northern Ontario and continued this for many years. In 1993, Ted and Florence moved west to live in Okotoks, and later settled in High River and Calgary. Ted was an avid curler in his younger years and always enjoyed playing a hand of bridge. Besides his loving wife Florence, Ted is survived by his children, Debbie Kallio of Niagara Falls, ON, Doug (Joyce) Fitzgerald of Cayley, AB and Donna (Rene) VandenBrand of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
