Obituary of Maly Cahane

Maly Cahane, beloved wife of Vladimir Cahane, mother of Eduard Cahane, daughter of Sarah and David Lehrer, of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday October 30, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Born in Romania and surviving through WWII, she moved to Canada in 1966 with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, child and friend to many. She volunteered for numerous good causes and spent the last fifteen years of her life quietly and courageously fighting liver disease. She will be missed by all, now at peaceful rest. She is survived by her son Eduard Cahane of New Westminster, BC; her brother, sister and niece in Israel; many friends; and her caring and devoted companion Alan Ferman.
