Obituary of John Briggs

John Gregory Briggs, devoted husband of Carrie Nermo and loving father of Colin of Calgary, passed away suddenly in Kelowna, on Friday, October 27, 2006. Born in Montreal on July 7, John moved to Calgary in 1988 and was employed in the construction industry for many years. Fate brought John and Carrie together in Calgary and they eventually married in 1999. John is survived by his loving wife Carrie and son Colin; his mother Joan Briggs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Pat Briggs, Mark and Brenda Briggs and Bob and Lori Briggs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Amanda, Stephen, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Jesse and Cody; as well as many dear friends. John was predeceased by his father Barry Briggs on July 15, 1987.
