Obituary of Dona June Shilmar

Dona Shilmar of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the age of 60 years. Born in Claresholm, AB on July 14, 1946, she was schooled and raised in Calgary. She and Bob had thirty-six wonderful years together in the Bowness area. Dona loved family first, gardening, and her grandchildren were her source of pride and joy. She was sentimental and caring to the extreme which showed most visibly in her profession as a Home Care worker. Dona is survived by her son Anthony; and daughter Joanne (Greg). She was cherished grandmother to Jennifer, Michael, Maddison, and Jason. She is also survived by sisters, Myrna, Lynda, Jackie, and Brenda and their families; mother-in-law Viola Shilmar; and brothers-in-law, Vic, Charlie, Vernon, George, and their families.
