Obituary of Suresh Shah

Dr. Suresh Shah, beloved husband of Aruna, father of Panchali and Sabina and father-in-law of Danny passed away on October 24, 2006 at the age of 67 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Suresh was born on August 31, 1939 in Nairobi, Kenya. He immigrated to Canada in 1968 after having spent several years studying in the United Kingdom. He spent his years in Calgary working at SAIT as an instructor and as the Associate Dean of its Health Sciences Department. Suresh spent the last four years of his career as the Executive Director and Principal of the OERB Community College in Nairobi. He was dedicated to helping his community and was a devoted husband, father and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife, his daughters, his two brothers and two sisters, and his many relatives and friends all around the world. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
