Obituary of Richard Daniel Laurie

Richard Daniel Laurie of Calgary passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 as a result of a motorbike accident, at the age of 18 years. Rick loved his bike, his cars, his family and his friends. He died doing what he loved best, riding in the sun on his bike. Rick had just started a new career with Empire Drywall where he again made new friends. Rick will always be in the hearts of his parents Dan and Karin; and his big brother John. Ricky is survived by his Nana and Papa Lori and Sean Kavanagh; Aunty Elke and Aunty Sandy (Dallas); and Uncle Ed. Rick is also survived by his cousins, Jayme, Kristy (son Jamal), Jeff, Kelsey, Lyndsey, Cody, Josh, Bryer, Amanda, and Tina; as well as many other family members. He will be sadly missed by his best friends and garage buddies, Daelen, Mooney (Mike), and Big Mike along with his special friend Missy. Rick had many friends and special teachers that influenced him to explore his creativity. Ricky was predeceased by his Grandma Norma and Grandpa Alex who will help guide his way home. He will be easy to spot as he will be the one with the biggest & fastest wings.
