Obituary of Helen Dow

Nellie Dow of Airdrie, formerly of Fort Saskatchewan and Vermilion, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, AB on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Nellie leaves to mourn her passing, one sister, Isobel; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Art; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Stu, Doug, and Neil and Rita; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and all those whose lives she touched. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son Brian; daughter Lois; sister Rhoda; and three grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at First United Church, Vermilion, AB on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Bethany Care Centre, 1736 -1st Avenue N.W., Airdrie, AB, T4B 2C4.
